Audited GPA’s SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration via manual DNS analysis, the first review in years, and found DMARC set to monitor-only, leaving spoofed emails logged but never blocked or quarantined. Briefed the Director of IT on the gap, linking it to ongoing phishing incidents, and recommended enforcing DMARC to close the exposure. Identified a social engineering gap after employees were vished via Teams calls impersonating IT support, including one case of attacker takeover via Quick Assist. Drafted a verification procedure requiring staff to confirm IT requests through known contacts or ticket numbers; submitted for review. Administered and maintained firewalls, Active Directory, and network security appliances. Configured and maintained Microsoft Exchange email systems and web-filtering software.
